It depends on the diameter though. Diameter of 3 gives Fwdelay=5;

There is yet another way to do this (if something in the scenario won’t let you directly use that forward-time command)……
You can use the extensions on this command:
spanning-tree vlan xx root diameter hello-time
Setting the hello-time to 1 sec will automatically add the commands for the forward-time of 5seconds and a max-age time of 7 seconds. (either primary or secondary both work).
Just another way to do something.

Configure the forward time of a VLAN. The forward delay is the number of seconds a port waits before changing from its spanning-tree learning and listening states to the forwarding state.
