I tried QoS pre-classify in my labs (GRE Tunnel, IPsec, Virtual-Templates), and it worked seamlessly with physical interfaces as well as with logical subinterfaces. Right, so packets go from R1 or R2 to R3. R3 then forwards them to R5 and then on to R4. It is not required that packets go from R1 to R3 to R2 or from R2 to R3 to R1. ...
