Can you elaborate what you are asking for?! You want the switch to identify when your VC unit is connected to any port on your switch and when it detect that to activate a certain predefined port MACRO? if that is the case: 1) it is not an optional of the box option 2) depanding on the Catalyst you use, you can use Embedded event manager (EEM) to create a nice feature like that.
