Port-security - quick one ;-)


“Sticky” has nothing to do with saving it in startup-config. It is simply meant to learn the address dynamically from the directly connected devices, instead of having to put each one of them manually (and likely make a mistake). Sticky addresses are in running config and therefore require a “copy run start” or “wr” to survive a reboot.
