NTP peer
Hi
I want some clearifications for NTP peer command .
If we want 2 routers to maintain consistent time between them .
What will happen in following 2 scenarios :
R1 (10.0.0.1) ———(10.0.0.2 ) R2
R1 ntp peer 10.0.0.2 ! R2 ntp peer 10.0.0.1
what timing will they finally use ? (R1’s or R2’s) or .. willl they negotiate to some diff time ?
2) If I say :
R1 ntp master ntp peer 10.0.0.2 ! and nothing on R2 .. will this cause R2 to derive timing info from R1 ?
Thnx in advance Gaurav Madan.
