NBAR Sqlserver x Custom Protocol
Hi all,
I think that the IEWB Solution Guide isn’t ok about the question 9.1 of Lab 15 - Vol.1. According with table 3 in URL: http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios122/122newft/122t /122t8/dtnbarad.htm, the nbar protocol “sqlserver” uses the TCP port 1433 and not UDP port 1434.
I understand that the URL (search for “NBAR provides for the creation of a custom protocol”): http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/netsol/ns340/ns394/ns171/ns128/networking_ solutions_white_paper09186a00801cd7f5.shtml talk about a manner to user NBAR to identify this protocol (using Custom protocols).
