You might want to check your model numbers on those routers. Scott likely advised you to get 1 2522 router for your frame relay switch. He then likely advised you to get eight other routers of a recent-enough vintage that they can run everything you need. In the perfect world, you could get eight 2811s. But 3600s will suite you well too for most of the CCIE features. I bet Scott said you should get four switches of the 3550/3560 variety. 3550s will be quite a bit cheaper, but you need at least two 3560s.
I would probably check out the CCIE lab specs on Cisco’s CCIE page, then go those two workbook vendor’s sites and see what hardware they recommend.
