My experenice with Narbiks bootcamp
I have been at Narbiks bootcamp
To take the class the requirement is the same as for the other bootcamp requirement, with the exception of netmasterclass bootcamp which has a part I and II;
Students are expected to have a CCNP-level of knowledge with extensive CCIE-level preparation.
To be prepared for this, Narbik will send you his soup-to-nuts workbook. Doing this workbook will get you prepared. But before doing this workbook you need some lectures first, or you can use the doccd which is cheaper and authoritative but not always as easy to understand as a lecture/vod/cod.
The moment you have passed this first step and have completed the soup-to-nuts workbook you are ready for the bootcamp.
Narbiks doesn’t use power point slides.. lets take a closer look at this
First I had my doubts on this.. I mean nearly everyone uses powerpoint making you believe that this is the standard efficient way of presenting topics to an audience. Probably most of the time it is because we may forget telling something and making powerpoints help us remembering the topics and keeping a boundary. And now comes Narbik.. he doesn’t need that, he keeps the structure, he can traverse the boundary as he find necessary go back and forth and at the end of the day you will have an understanding of the how and why of a given technology.
Narbiks philosophy is simple but highly effective. I am looking here at his advanced workbook, it not only follows and covers the whole official R&S blueprint but it is also a study guide not offering you only the solutions to the scenarios but also explaining the topic/solutions!. So if you have tons of scenarios where you can practice every single item on the blueprint and you have them explained to you, isn’t this what you ought to do?
Narbik will be in Amsterdam the first week of September. He keep a small clas of 10 to 12 students. I am in!
I highly recommend his training.
