Frog, If you are dealing with T1/E1 controllers, simply do not put “ccm manager config-server x.x.x.x” command on the mgcp gateway. Now you are choose any successive # of channels per gateway as you want. The only disadvantage is that you will have to manual reset the gateway when needed and also the callmanager will not be able to push the configuration anymore.
