Hop count with EIGRP
Hop count is used for loop prevention.
It can also be used to limit the scope of eigrp reachablilty.

What is the relation of hop-count and EIGRP. Though it is not used as a metric, can it really impact EIGRP operationIt is it counted by EIGRP for sure.
