Groupstudy issues
Hey Guys,
Working on GroupStudy . you will see intermittent issues. Again I apologize for the issues.
Anyone with a strong background in sendmail want to help?
The CPU load of one of the servers increased to a point where sendmail started queueing messages. Over the last two days, over 220,000 messages have entered the queue. When the server tries to process the queue, the load increases again thus causing messages to be queued.
If someone wants to write a bash script that will take the 220,000 files in the queue and place them into directories of about 10K files per directory, send me an e-mail offlist.
I made a bunch of changes this morning (multiple queues, moving old messages to a backup queue, etc.). But since I have not seen any e-mail to the list, I assume we still have problems.
