First attempt; No pass; need suggestions
Have you considered the IE WB3 ? It focuses on core technology speed and accuracy … i like the approach and hope it helps me in my 2nd attempt (coming up soon!
) Basically the idea is to do a few full labs then a few core labs (take between 2-3 hours each - speed and accuracy focus ) then cycle that again and again … I know when i did my 1st attempt at the lab my main issue was time management … i wasn’t nearly where i wanted to be by lunch … and now i’m learning my original goal to be at by lunch was no right either … i should have even been further along …
Just a thought …

Hello Everyone, I made my first attempt at the R&S lab on Monday and unfortunately I didn’t pass. On the bright side, I didn’t completely bomb the test either. I’m thinking that I can study for another 6 weeks or so and make a second attempt. I’m just not sure how to go about studying for a second attempt.
I went to the IPExpert bootcamp and I’ve been using vol 1 and 2 of the IE workbooks. I have my score report and I know what I need to brush up on, but I’m not sure that I’ll get where I need to be just from doing full labs over and over again. I’ve been thinking about getting the soup-to-nuts books, but I don’t know how detailed they get. According to the score report, I really need to look at security and IP/IOS services.
Does anyone have suggestions for the best way to study for a second attempt?
