Fiber Keepalives
Hi all,
TAC recently suggested that we disable keepalives on all fiber interfaces due to possible loop issues. We have not run into any issues that can definitively point to keepalives as the root cause. I have tested disabling in our lab and have found no negative consequences to do so. Does anyone have any experience with this? Fiber keepalives are turned off, by default, in IOS versions 12.2T+. Thanks!
