eigrp hold time
Heres the problem I have with that(not that my opinion matters to a router). The hold time is 3 times the hello, so for my example why would I need to configure hold time. Hasn’t hold time been configured to 12 when I changed the hello to 4? —– Original Message —– From: Ibrahim kabir To: John ; ccielab@groupstudy.com Sent: Tuesday, May 20, 2008 4:20 PM Subject: RE: eigrp hold time
John, By default the eigrp hold time is three times the hello interval. Personally I havent changed one timer without changing the other. To answer your question I think changing either does not automatically change the other. Atleast thats What I think. Am I ryt Guys.
