Cisco Assessor Lab

But then, is it the same as the “CCIE Lab Practice Request” which you can get through the Cisco Powered Network CPN? They also take 4 hours. Anyone tried?
regards
Roger

No, the Assessor labs and ASET training labs are maintained by two different teams at Cisco. (In other words, the labs should be different). I would think the assessor labs would be better. The last time I saw the ASET labs they seemed a little dated. thanks, Brad Ellis CCIE#5796 (R&S / Security) CCSI# 30482 CEO / President CCBOOTCAMP - A Cisco Sponsored Organization (SO) Email: brad@ccbootcamp.com Toll Free: 877-654-2243 Direct: +1-702-968-5100 = Outside the USA FAX: +1-702-446-8012 YES! Is the Assessor lab purchased from the Cisco web site the same as the ASET labs? Since being employed by a partner, I have access to ASET training labs and find it to be very good material. It also uses the dreaded “autoverify”. I don’t expect anyone to violate the NDA, just wondering if it is the same thing.

John,
You read it of the computer.
You could capture the screen shots though. However, as far as I remember, the Assessor labs (just like the ASET labs for channel SEs) is covered by the NDA.
The labs are quite difficult if you ask me (as your final results may show), but it helps you understand how AutoVerify does her grading. You sure would learn a lot from it. Who knows, Cisco proctors use this very tool for the ‘automated tool’ part of their grading.
But as you would also find with her style of grading, AutoVerify is not human. :-)
Regards,
Felix
