CCVP Bootcamps [7:117297]
Brain, I just finished my CCVP. For Unity– a Base knowledge of integration with CM is required. But it does not include configuring Unity itself, just integration. If you have T/S unity installs, and understand the integration well, you should be fine.
I thought IPExpert still had a course… IPExpert gurus???? However, if you are like me with lots of hands on, take a look at the Cisco press books and Boson. The Gateway/Gatekeeper book is great. It has a few undocumented gatekeeper debug commands that are absolutely Invaluable…..
Globalknowledge is always good, but time consuming…
I hope this helps…

Hi all,
I am hoping to attend a CCVP bootcamp sometime within the next two months. I have rolled out and maintained several CM and CME builds (CUE integration for all, no Unity). Though I would say I am much stronger with CME than CM - there are obviously gaps that need to be filled in my knowledge of each. Can anyone share some honest feedback if you have attended one recently (in North America)? I did look at the IPExpert offering the early part of last year, but found out it has been discontinued. GlobalKnowledge appears to be a candidate, though more expensive than the others I have seen. Also, if anyone can state whether Unity knowledge is required for the CCVP - I am not sure if I missed it (ambiguous wording?), but I don’t think I have seen it explicitly stated in the exam outlines.
Thanks,
- b
