CCDE Goes Live
May be CCIE will be proved to be more powerful than CCDE as CCDE is composition of everything while CCIE is specialization in particular field.

What’s the potential for devalue? CCIE is an implementation or “doing” exam. CCDE is a design exam.
Now, if an employer WANTS to have someone with a CCIE + CCDE, how is that a devalue? That is just multiple areas of expertise.
Not everyone who can do implementation can design a large network. Likewise, not everyone who can design can actually configure the specifics.
Think of it as different tracks, or complimentary certs. It certainly isn’t a devaluation!

So Is the CCDE going to devalue the CCIE at all? Will cisco require 4 CCIE’s/CCDE now?
doing a design lab seems alittle less scary no?
