Calls from recruiters

What the hell kind of job are you trying to get?

If you are doing contract work, you can always write that off.

Agreed.

Legitimate Employers will bear the cost of your employment. Your expenses especially high dollar expenses are typically covered.

Having said that I have paid for a medical screening for TB at least twice now and some bloodwork that cost me over $400.00

Hi,
I was wondering does anyone have experience with recruiters in the US calling or emailing for jobs. I had someone email me for a job that was based in the US, but they wanted me to pay them $1600 to process a visa. Is this normal or even legal? Has this happened to anyone else?
Thanks..
