Analog Dial backup AND for console

Hello,
Anyone using an analog modem connected to an AUX port for dial backup? In case your T1 primary link fails? The hard part is: Can you use that modem for dialin to manage your router when not using the Dial backup?
Just a Usrobotic connected to an AUX port of say a 1811.
