“ip host r1 x.x.x.x 2001″ - is the global configuration mode command that creates a static name resolution entry to a reverse telnet port and enables you to connect to the device just by typing keywords “r1″
“telnet x.x.x.x 2001″ - is the command that would be used to connect to the device.
