minimum ospf network statements

The other option is if it is a range like
0 10.1.0.0/24 1 10.1.1.0/24 2 10.1.2.0/24 3 10.1.3.0/24
You could do network 10.1.0.0 0.0.3.255 area x
I guess It would depend on how the question was worded exactly.

fragment

This defines the size of “one of your fragmented” frames. If for example you send a frame with the size of 600 bytes towards that interface, and you specify a frame-relay fragmet 60, the router will create 10 frames, (divide your 600 byte frame with 60).
maybe this helps

Damn, I finished the lab in 4 hours and had 4 hours to verify and I still didn’t………..

Awesome. Sometimes while studying it sounded easy when people got their number in a few months (which makes you wonder why it’s not easy for you…). You did a good job conveying that you did in fact bleed for the digits. Now comes the fun part, where you start getting bashed in the […]

Open question to those that have recently sat for the lab.

I also had the traditional DocCD interface. The traditional interface worked perfectly when I did it.
The proctor specifically told us that should we find anything that we thought we should have access to and couldn’t get because of broken links to let him know and he would get us access.

minimum ospf network statements

It may depend on when the lab you are working on was created.
Older versions of IOS didn’t have “ip ospf area (#)” as an interface command. But yes, that absolutely would seem the best IMHO!
Otherwise, you may look at “network 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 area (#)” to bring ALL interfaces in with a single […]

minimum ospf network statements

I’ve been tasked with enabling ospf on certain links and am asked to do it with the minimum amount of network statements.
My conclusion is that I don’t need any network statements I can just enable ospf on interfaces and use zero network statements.
Am I confused???

shape peak and shape average confusion

I hate to ask another question on top of this before Thor’s question get answered but maybe we can kill 2 birds with one Narbik…
Whats the difference between
shape peak 64000 8000 0 and shape average 64000 8000 0
neither have a ‘Be’ and that’s the only difference right? And if the ‘average’ command doesn’t use […]
